Description
If you enjoy riding fishes but would like a little more glide and ease of wave entry when the waves creep up then the Mid Fish is a super fun option. Kind of that in between sizing from short to mid this offers those wanting to jump up in size without too much of a step or sacrifice in performance or for those sizing down, it's a great fit. Surprisingly spicy feeling for a longer fish, you can still expect to throwing these around at your will.
No need to over complicate the bottom shape on these, as simple seems to be king here with a very subtle single concave through the mid drift and some vee running out the tail. The foil and rocker play more of a key role in the functionality and responsiveness of these fishes, edging more on the performance end of the scale than being a cruiser.
Multiple fin configurations work well with these, depending on your groove. Ride with a set of upright twin fins for a more pivoty feel and aggressive approach or put some keels in to smooth things out with more projection and drawn out lines. A quad setup will find you somewhere in between with ample drive and hold but enough release to keep it from feel too stiff. Goes great as a twinzer as well if you're wanting to up it a gear.
